How to obtain a Concealed Carry Permit in Georgia

County probate courts issue firearms licenses to state residents 21 and older.  The average cost of a CCW permit is a $75 fee for licensing and fingerprinting, costs vary by each individual county. You will need to contact your local probate court for further details.

County probate judges may restrict any state residents with a criminal history, or If you've been in a mental hospital or a drug treatment center within the last five years, from obtaining a CCW license.
